Global Gathering 2017

NELIS will hold its second Global Gathering on January 14-18th , 2017, in Kyoto and Omi-Hachiman, Japan. 35 next generation leaders from six continents, all working on building a bridge to a sustainable future, will be invited.

For the first time, we are organizing a "Sustainability Leaders' Summit" in collaboration with Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto. Students, people from corporations, the media and the general public is invited to join us for two days of inspiring discussions and workshops on how to accelerate action for sustainability and build the new leadership and innovation capabilities required. NELIS Global Gathering 2017 – Flow of Events

The Global Gathering 2017 consists of two parts, First, we have two days of closed sessions in Omi-Hachiman, in which the 35 participants from all corners of the world will discuss NELIS' activities, future business models and modus operandi of the network. Second, we host a two-day Sustainability Leaders' Summit in collaboration with Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto. Here, the worldviews and activities of NELIS participants will be introduced and discussed through symposia, workshops, presentations and Skype sessions. Students, people from corporations, the media and the general public will be invited to join this Summit.
